Nelson Lakes is a paradise for fisherman with stocked fishing and massive historic catches. The property was previously open to a private fishing club, but now will only hold access to homeowners in the community exclusively and their invited guests.
Non-motorized fishing skiffs are permitted on the lakes, alongside canoes, kayaks and similar style boats for fishing. The circular trail around the property makes it easy to shoreline fish or transport skiffs around the property. At the north end of the development, there is an existing fishing dock that extends out into the water with possible plans for more docks as needed as the community develops.
